Nalade is an insecticide that is allegedly harmless to humans unless used perhaps in close quarters- was meant to exterminate the Zika mosquito in Dorchester County, South Carolina. But this is not the only danger to bee colonies in the United States.  This article claims that beekeepers have suffered horrendous losses so far in 2015-2016.

We can at least thank Honey Nut Cheerios for the sentiments in this music video.

Ken Eade’s book explains the problems we continue to confront.  It will take more than one heartfelt advertising campaign to stop this problem.

In 2014, Ken Eade’s wife and photographer for his book above, was featured in her show “Beecause I Care.” with her work highlighting the need for a concern for our bee population that continues to this day.

Around the time of the “Beecause I Care” gallery exposition, Joey Pinkney had an interview with Kenneth Eade, explaining their efforts to broadcast the pollinator crisis affecting the world’s food supply.
